The Heartwood Joinery was established in January 1994 for the sole purpose of recreating the rare furniture of the bygone eras. Owner and furnituremaker Edward Clifford has over twenty five years of woodworking experience, along with design consultant Krystyna Jaronski, who has over twenty years in the graphic art field.

The Shaker line is our first undertaking. The building of this particular style is time consuming, and traditional materials are often unavailable through regular lumber suppliers. Our premium grade wood is custom ordered and milled in our woodshop to insure adherence to authentic specifications.

As our Shaker line continues to grow, we now offer the creation of Shaker built-in cabinetry, kitchens and baths.
